Our Seminarians

Men who enter our Priestly Formation Program make a formal commitment to follow a full-time Formation Plan, including academic study of philosophy and theology, supervised ministry placements, and a life of prayer and spiritual direction.

Meet Seminarian Asim Ashiq

Asim has been in the Eudist Priestly Formation program since 2024. From the Multan Province of Pakistan, his vocation journey so far has been an eventful one. It included studies of philosophy and theology at the archdiocesan seminary of Karachi, encountering the ministry of Sowing the Seeds of Mercy with the Eudists in Pakistan, and coming to join our formation program in the San Diego area as his first-ever travel outside of his home country.

In his third year of theology studies at Franciscan School of Theology, Asim has made the commitment to enter Probation with the Eudists, the final stage before ordination, lasting at least 4 years.

Pray for him as he continues to seek the will of God in his discernment and formation.
